These are the famous Chanel earrings in the shape of the Chanel quilted hanndbag. They have a round coin clip from which hangs a quilted charm complete with flap and the Chanel CC logo.
Signed CHANEL on clip, signifying they were a runway piece. One of the pictures shows them being worn on the Spring/Summer 1986 Haute Couture runway. Later, several non-runway versions were issued (eg 1993 and 1994), and they remain a perennial favourite.
Earrings measure 3" long by 1 3/8" across. Coin clip measures 0.75" across.
There is very slight darkening to the gold plating on the clips and chains, but otherwise these iconic earrings are in excellent condition.
