Rare goldtone Goossens gripoix cross necklace from Yves Saint Laurent is just oozing style. The arms of the cross are round cabochons in red, blue and citrine, while the central stone and the stone on the bale are amethyst coloured crystals. Twisted link chain and round clasp, plus extension chain.
Total length of necklace is 19" (48cms), plus a 2.5" extension chain. Cross element is 3.5" long and 2" wide (9cms by 5cms).
Signed hangtag plus 'YSL' on reverse of pendant. From 1990's.
There is a small loss of gold plating on some parts of the chain, though not visible when worn, otherwise this superb necklace is in excellent condition.
