Stunningly rare 1987 iconic Chanel goldtone necklace loaded with Chanel references - the pendant has three elements - a No 5 charm, a CC logo charm and an oversize faux baroque pearl dangle. Doesn't get any better! Heavy oval link chain completes the look. Features in Chanel Catwalk page 66 from where the runway picture featured here is taken.
Stamped CHANEL on hook, and as it was a runway piece, as so often the case it does not have a date. From Spring/Summer 1987 collection, which accompanied the launch of the No 5 perfume in Eau de Parfum form. Many of the pieces in this collection used the No 5 as a motif, including earrings and belts. All are now highly sought after and very rare!
Total length of necklace excluding charms is 18" (46cms), charms measure 5.5" in length.
Signed CHANEL on reverse of hook. From 1987.
This amazing necklace has some small scratches to the No 5 charm and the CC logo but they in no way detract from the beauty of the piece.
Comes with its own Chanel box.
