Stunning choker necklace by John Galliano for Christian Dior. The centrepiece is a cat's face shaped motif picked out in small black beads, with two larger beads for eyes and with fronds of beads falling from it. The motif is held in place by six strands of black beads, and it is backed by a pierced silvered base.
Hook fastening which when in place forms the CD logo at the back of the necklace., with the C on one side of the hook, the D on the other.
There is a silvered round link 2" long extension chain.
Measurements
Width of cat's face is 2.75", total length of choker necklace is 14.5" including the 2" extension chain.
This rare necklace is from the Galliano pre-collection Autumn 2001 and is signed on the silvered backing.
This knock-out choker is in excellent condition.
